AI, Tom Petty, and his future career

Just thinking about A.I. while watching an archived new Tom Petty song, Parade of Loons

So, I've been using Suno lately for playing with my show music, just to make sure that licensing wouldn't prevent me from getting a good show compilation out there. A friend showed me a revived piece, from Tom Petty, Parade of Loons. Really great. But, it occured to me, why couldn't new Tom Petty music be created from different eras of his popularity. Preferably, the Damn the Torpedos, my fave. I think that I could write a Tom Petty song, just from having memorized every sound and lyric of his since the 70's. I think that I COULD... not sure if I SHOULD. Also, I don't really think that style of music suits MY show style, no matter how much I love it. I'm probably more of a rat pack, Sinatra, Dean Martin act, but my favorite was always TP&theHB's. I always love Sam Kinison, but I could NEVER pull off that material, myself. A great lesson in knowing your character, and going with it. I'm clean funny, but I don't come across well with obscenity. That will serve me well, well into my old age.
